Zine
The zine is a semester long project where we were tasked with creating a 16 page (or 4 spread) zine. However, we could make it longer. It had requirements such as something on at least 16 pages, a cohesive theme, title page, table of contents, back label, and more

Final Design
Research
The plan for this zine is to be a survival guide for SCPs titled "A Class-D Personnel's Guide to Surviving (Some) SCPs." SCPs come from an online horror story collection, also commonly referred to as Creepypastas, called the "SCP Foundation." The SCP Foundation (secure, contain, protect), is a secretive government organization that captures and secures anomalous or supernatural items and entities to keep them from hurting the general public. These SCPs are then experimented on to attempt to learn the extent of their abilities

Most of the lore regarding the SCP Foundation is on a website called the SCP Wiki, where for more than a decade hundreds of people across the internet have created thousands of stories. As there are so many stories, not much of the lore in the SCP universe is considered canon, or the single truth. Many different indie horror games have also been made.

Class-D Personnel

Class-D (or D-Class) personnel are people of the lowest rank in the foundation. These are people typically recruited from death row, but can also be homeless (and promised money after spending a certain amount of time with the foundation), other inmates who have committed violent crimes, or war criminals. They are considered expendable and used as test subjects for studying, investigating, and experimenting with SCPs. They are not privy to any information about what they will be forced to do, and are forbidden from interacting with upper classes. Most do not survive.
Possible SCPs to Include

SCP-173: "The Sculpture"
SCP-689: "Haunter in the Dark"
SCP-542: "Herr Chirurg"
SCP-906: "Scouring Hive"
SCP-1025: "The Encyclopedia of Common Diseases"
SCP-529 "Josie the Half Cat"

It's hard to really get an idea of how the entries will be laid out before I know exactly what's going to go in them, so I made a separate sheet showing examples of possible entry pages
Expanded Type
I knew that I needed to have multiple different handwritten style type fonts. Joe, Abigail, Matt, and Jessica each needed a handwritten font that conveyed part of their personalities. The cover needed a font that looked like scribbled marker. For the upcoming type figure, I wanted to do something that looked like the scribbles of a madman.
